Course Overview

Seven Thinking Caps training

One-day training course: learn to divide thinking into seven different styles and consider each separately, with all people thinking in the same style.

Participants learn practical techniques to improve thinking, make better-informed decisions, strengthen teamwork and run more effective meetings.

Why Structured Thinking Helps

Traditional discussions can become dominated by debate, competing opinions and criticism. This can create conflict and make it harder to explore ideas constructively.

Seven Thinking Caps provides a shared structure that helps participants examine information, explore possibilities, consider risks and values, and make decisions.

What your team will learn

  • Think more clearly: Separate different thinking styles to improve focus.

  • Make better decisions: Examine issues from multiple perspectives before choosing a course of action.

  • Improve teamwork: Give everyone a shared structure for contributing ideas.

  • Run more productive meetings: Reduce unstructured debate and keep discussions focused.

  • Strengthen judgement: Use Grey Cap thinking to consider wisdom and the wider implications of decisions.

  • Duration: 1 day, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

  •  Group size: 6-24 attendees.

  • Course Free: Available on Request
